There is this school in my area (Sacramento, CA) named %26quot;A School of Ninjutsu%26quot; but then the reviews talk about something called %26quot;Bujinkan%26quot; and %26quot;Dojo%26quot;. I know pretty much nothing about martial arts but want to learn Ninjutsu because I hear it is close to what Ninjas learned and want some serious martial arts training with straight to the point kicking *** skills. Non of that fancy crap.
If you could give me some tips and guide lines in to how to know if a school is legit I would be very much obliged.
(I also don%26#039;t plan on going around kicking peoples asses. Plan on joining the military and would like to start learning to take care of myself now)|||ninjutsu is just the common broad name for the art of bujinkan budo taijutsu. if youre looking for some good ninjutsu you cant really go wrong with bujinkan. it will all depend on the instructor but it is pretty badass as regards fighting, espionage and all that other good stuff that the ninjas are renowned for. a dojo is the japanese term for the building that you would train in martial arts.. hope this helps.. ps if you wanna see bujinkan in action go to youtube and type in masaki hatsumi.. hes the head honcho of bujinkan and basically a scary 80 yr old man|||A dojo is just a school that teaches martial arts, and Im pretty sure ninjutsu is a term used to describe all the crap ninjas used to do, not just the fighting. My advice would be to take some boxing or wrestling before getting into all that complex ****. most people cant fight that well anyway and even a slight advantage through training is usually enough to take care of yourself. That and a mean @ss attitude lol.|||Ninjutsu is perfect for police/military application. You need to sit in on some classes. You should see lots of technique drills involving throws, low kicks and joint manipulation. Read up on Ninjutsu and research before checking out the class.
