Ninjutsu question...?

Is there anywhere I can learn real ninjutsu...I mean like training to use your surroundings and what the Grand Master of Ninjutsu teaches? I read a book by some guy (sorry I forgot his name, ti was something Hayes) who went to train with Grand Master Hatsumi in Noda%26lt;Japan and he wrote of one instance when he had to use a certain part of his nose to sense how far water was from him. I want to learn that kind of ninjutsu, but is there anywhere I can outside of Japan?|||%26quot;real ninjas%26quot; are to the Japanese what Knights are to the british...I don%26#039;t see a lot of people wanting to learn how to joust or be effective in combat by wearing layers and layers of metal armor while wielding the mighty excalibur (although there are some weirdos out there that might prove me wrong). but yeah, real ninjas or real ninjutsu don%26#039;t exist-closest you%26#039;ll get is a Bujinkan School...|||yes, but not real well but u can try like a bunch of books like, anywhere|||yes in fantasy land|||The dojo%26#039;s you%26#039;ve found so far, are they under Hatsumi Sensei? If so you can begin to learn after you check them out and see if they are for you. Then perhaps after that you can get deeper into it. I know you must have some kind of restriction on distance you can travel to learn. If not then you would have flown to Japan already and learned there. Doing the best place locally will be a good start and the sensei of that dojo can perhaps point you in the right direction. I%26#039;m just curious though. How does sensing your distance to water with your nose make you a better fighter or ninja? Couldn%26#039;t you just look and see?|||Ninjutsu is like a recently made up art. The closest true art that the Ninja studied would be Taijutsu! The Ninja took what they learned and used it effectively in different situations. Aiki-jujitsu would be the early devolpment of Jujitsu, Aikido, and Judo. I could be wrong about it. I have to say Gung-Fu was one of the first arts. Theres like 9 different theories about Karate and it%26#039;s origin.|||many gyms have ninjutsu or mixed martial arts classes now (some have videos up on youtube)|||Yes there are a few places in the US where you can learn from masters that trained in Japan they tend to keep quiet and train harshly If you can message me privately or something I would be happy to find you a Master in your area there are two in my town but they are related and they are Brutal the test for Black Belt takes 3 days.

To all the people that think Ninja do not exist anymore they are sorely Mistaken they are here they just stay quiet as that is there nature|||you can find ninjitsu dojos around if you look for them. and the thing about finding water with your nose i dont think that is posible.|||Stephen K. Hayes is an american Ninja Master who lives and teaches in Dayton, OH. You could probably do an internet search for Ninjitsu schools in your area.|||The only places that would teach that kinda stuff would be japan....or look at some ninjutsu authors. On the back page of their books it should say what level they are and where they train. Bingo. You have locations. Either that or save save save and go to japan to train for a while.

Hope that kinda helps in some way or another.

Good luck
