Which is a recommend martial art to learn?

I am interested in learning muay Thai as well as ninjutsu I am also interested in learning shidokan. I am interested in hearing others options on which is a good martial art to learn. Muay thai involves strikes and ninjutsu involves throws and shidokan is more of a full contact art. Which do you think is a deadly art?|||The deadly art is ninjutsu, because it has an skill to trap a person and to hit an person by its weapons, ninjutsu also have throwings and hanging weapons wich has an poison on it, Ninjutsu was trully originated in japan, using nijutsu you can use any japanese weapons, note that ninjutsu is not an art it is an combat, other people use it as an art. Ninjutsu is hard to learn, causeyou are trained like ninjia, you need to learn or to use the diff. weapons, throwings, elements, eyes faster than lightning, graplings, counter attacks, attacks, moves that make your opponent confused in every move step by step they bleed. I can sugest that you can learn ninjutsu, if you reay fell it inside your heart, beacuse a person is willing to study an art or combat, will help him/her study it much easier.|||Wing Chun Kuen. peace,

lr|||Well, when you talk about a full contact MA, you wont get more full contact than Mauy Thai. I studied MT for a while myself. It is one of the most deadly arts known to man. I can not really say a whole lot on the style of Ninjitsu, for I do not know a lot about it. And I have never heard of Shidokan...the closest art I know with that type of spelling is Shotokan, but I am more than sure there are a lot of styles out there, I have no idea of. But if you want to learn how to throw people and such, I would HIGHLY recommend Judo or Jujitsu. If you want a hard hitting style, then Mauy Thai or kickboxing.|||I think any art can be a deadly art if mastered at a high level. As far as selecting which one to learn, it depends on the individual and what interests you, I would recommend Kajukenbo, Sanshou and Muay Thai.|||How many times is this naive question asked?

A punch to the throat, temple, spine and chest can kill a person. A choke and cause death if applied for long enough. All these simple and yet deadly techniques are in most martial arts but are probably considered too boring. Most people who ask this question would prefer to spend years (well, months) learning some spectacular jumping kick which will decapitate and opponent or a tripe dragon touch which will make the opponent fall down dead an hour after hitting them.|||Dim Mak is not a style. i don%26#039;t know of any Dim Mak schools.|||ninjutsu is not a grappling art!!!!! GRAHHH!!!! it is a stealth and assassination art!!!!!!!!

I think probably Koen-Ken is the most deadly because it is one of those legendary ones that are supposedly so deadly that they were outlawed in china because every technique is a killing blow.

in reality though, almost all arts can be just as deadly. it all depends on what suits you.|||Dim Mak. Deadliest form of martial arts on the planet. A man who knows Dim Mak can kill you with a touch. It%26#039;s such a deadly form of martial arts that the technique is only taught to one man per generation.

Edit: If you%26#039;re going to tell someone about different martial arts, at least learn how to spell them correctly. It%26#039;s Combat Hapkido and Krav Maga.|||If you%26#039;re looking to kill people all the answers above are good. But this isn%26#039;t the movies so realistically you want a style that will protect you and can will put your agresser down for the count.

Muay Thai is very good, Krav Maga, JKD, Combat Hopkido.

Just to name a few, of course everyones fav BJJ is good to. You have to remember what ever you learn or style you use on your agresser you have to justify the amount of force used. Good luck on finding the style for you, each student is going to tell you their style is the best.

Bushido|||They all have the potential to be deadly.

I%26#039;m going to recommend shidokan since you have access to it. Why?

Muay Thai- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muay_Thai

Ninjutsu*- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bujinkan

Shidokan- http://www.shidokan.com/

You%26#039;ll get more out of shidokan. It%26#039;s the %26quot;Triathlon of Martial Arts.%26quot; In addition to becoming very fit from it, you%26#039;ll have a variety of scenarios to go with. Full contact muay thai style bouts are a component of Shidokan, as well as Kyokushin rules, and so forth.

Shidokan is a mix of%26quot; Goju-Ryu, Shotokan, Kyokushinkai and Thai Boxing.%26quot; Grappling is included in the mix, and you would be come very well rounded from the curriculum.

*Ninjutsu is a misnomer as a martial art. Ninjutsu is the totality of ninja espionage arts. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu/To Shin Do/Ninpo are the unarmed part. There isn%26#039;t complete ground work, but there%26#039;s a lot of joint strikes, joint manipulations/locks, throws, and so forth.

I would highly recommend Shidokan, because it would make you incredibly well-rounded, which is what you need. Muay Thai and BBT/TSD/N are good too, but they aren%26#039;t as complete as shidokan, and muay thai is a component of shidokan.

You can choose what you want though. Any of these arts have strong potentials with frequent, intense training to breeds confidence, and the skill to defend oneself.

Good luck
