Is this true about Ninjutsu?

The first out of 18 disciplines of Ninjutsu involves spiritual refinement which some schools of Ninjutsu start with Indian yoga.

Is that true? Does Indian yoga really play a role in training for first discipline of Ninjutsu better called Seishin-teki ky艒y艒?

Read the article below:

|||no, you%26#039;re misreading....

%26quot;Derived from Shinto and Zen buddhism%26quot;

furthur down

%26quot;Some ninjutsu schools start this awakening the mind with a yoga-derived system from India%26quot;

so you see the key word is %26quot;some%26quot;...meaning whatever ninjer wrote it may be from the Frank Dux school of ninjitsu for all we know.. and it may be how they do it, for example...

while it could be true for some ryu...it%26#039;s the first I heard that.

edit: I wouldn%26#039;t get too caught up on the 18 disciplines. No Ninjutsu school is going to teach you Bajutsu, Cho-ho or Sui-ren...despite them claiming to be %26quot;The truest form of Ninjutsu as it was 1000 years ago%26quot; *cough*Genbusomething*cough*|||wikipedia isn%26#039;t a scholarly source. There are spiritual aspects to most martial arts. However, current Ninjutsu depending on who and where it%26#039;s practiced may differ.
