If so, what are your thoughts and feelings about ninjutsu? Have you ever attended a class, what did you think of it?

Ninjutsu is the martial art of the ninja.|||I practiced ninjutsu for many years (as well as other martial arts).





There are many different schools, some very traditional, some very esoteric, some para-military, and finally at least one (the one I practice) well-balanced. Forget about the techniques or weapons, the main difference with other martial arts is that ninjutsu focuses on effectiveness and stealth. No need for stunts or fancy weapons. If hitting quickly with your umbrella is the best way to get rid of your opponent, that is the ninja%26#039;s way.

The art of the ninja is watered down as today its out in the open. The %26#039;hand-to-hand%26#039; fighting aspect of ninjutsu is still taught, but esponiage is no longer an aspected focus on by ninjutsu.





Concerning hand-to-hand fighting of ninjutsu, ninjutsu is a blend of chinese arts and jiu jutsu of the samurai.





Now, my thougts and feelings on ninjutsu? Ninjutsu is a great art for learning self-defense, but if not practiced in %26quot;aliveness%26quot;, a.k.a sparring, it won%26#039;t mean anything.





Bujinkan teaches ninjutsu, but some of the instructors don%26#039;t advocate sparring and some do. So, if you happen to come across a bujinkan instructor make sure they spar. Why the ones that spar? So, you know how to fight with ninjutsu

Plus Stephen K. Hayes who teaches some ninjutsu, but his system is reformed ninjutsu.





Added Detail: Not too many instructors focus on the spiritual side of ninjutsu. As far ninjutsu has made me feel, I feel like it allowed me to get to know myself, but ninjutsu is up to you. Its what you want out of it.

jujitsu literally means a type of art which primarily uses kicks....it holds only if you talk about jujitsu.





on the other hand ninjutsu involves transforming the body and couple of techniques(smoke bombs, shuriken) to hide yourself from enemy. and give a surprise attck.





thus Ninjutsu = jujitsu + surprise + techniqes|||This art has developed a mysticism all its own and sadly comes from the need to do bad things in the most extreme of times. The powers that be found that codes of conduct were getting in the way of winning wars so these spies were covertly gathering info, etc. These men (%26amp; possibly women) were never decorated or held in high esteem as they wore the uniform of lowly stage hands, the black pyjamas tightly bound to avoid making a noise while moving scenery. They could never wear medals, badges of rank or similiar as that would defeat the purpose of being a spy. In the west spies are still excecuted in times of war, and don%26#039;t get to appear in films as 007 might have us believe, the reality is long hours of drudgery with little reward for your efforts, so being so covert legends of superhuman powers have grown-up around them. so unfortunatly ninjustu the art of ninjas who were assasination tools of old emperrrors will soon ceast to exist


Truthfully i regret that these arts will b forgotton|||ninjitsu is a form of martial arts that uses the forms and style of the ancient ninjas. It uses a combination of acrobatics and fighting to create fluid, effective fighting motions. weapons may or may not be used depending on where you practice it. Ninjas were often disguised as gardeners (using s blade as a weapon)when protecting the kings, so ninjitsu teaches you to use what you have, and to make effective strikes to your opponent.
